Grant Overview, Guidelines & Application

The Advocates Grant Funding Program opens Feb. 1, 2024 for grants for the 2024-25 grant cycle. Applications will be accepted through 12:00 pm on February 29, 2024.  Awards on grant proposals submitted in the current cycle will be announced in late April/early May 2024. Funds for grants awarded then will be disbursed between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025. All applicants are urged to carefully review the grant application guidelines.

All proposals should align with Advocates for Upstate’s mission to:

1. improve patient care and satisfaction
2. support medical education and
3. enhance community health

Applications for grants are accepted from departments across the Upstate Medical University campuses and must be for items and/or services NOT funded through department budgets.
